by

From October 8–10, 2026, Orofacial Sleep Consortium Global, in collaboration with Universidad Francisco Marroquín (UFM) in Guatemala, celebrated the completion of its university-based continuing education program in Temporomandibular Disorders (TMD) & Orofacial Pain, marking the successful conclusion of its first cohort in Guatemala.

The program comprised 120 hours of education, combining online learning with two three-day on-site modules focused on hands-on clinical training and the application of knowledge to clinical practice.

Our inaugural cohort brought together dental professionals from five countries: Mexico 🇲🇽, Guatemala 🇬🇹, El Salvador 🇸🇻, Honduras 🇭🇳, and Ecuador 🇪🇨, fostering international collaboration and the exchange of clinical knowledge across the region.

We extend our sincere gratitude to all participants, faculty members, and university partners whose dedication made this milestone possible.

This achievement represents an important step toward expanding access to high-quality, university-based continuing education in TMD & Orofacial Pain and strengthening professional development for dentists throughout Latin America.

🎓 Congratulations to our first cohort in Guatemala!

Together, we continue advancing education, clinical excellence, and collaboration in Orofacial Pain, Sleep & Airway across Latin America and beyond. 🌎
