Full-time Professor in UNAM and Dean of the National School of Higher Studies, Leon Campus of UNAM.

Member of the National Academic of Medicine in Mexico. The current President of the IADR Mexican Division, the President of the Mexican Federations of Faculties of School of Dentistry and the President of the National Dental Accreditation Council.

Research lines related to the development of Innovative Biomaterials, Innovative Education and Teaching and Learning in Dental Sleep Medicine. Author of 38 indexed articles (JRC), 6 books, 3 chapters, 30 articles of peer-reviewed journals and 4 proceedings. Author of 3 guidebooks with copyright registration. Director of pregraduate, undergraduate, master and PhD degree theses, and postdoctoral fellowships.
