Mentorship Program International, First Session. April 25, 2026.

This April 25, the first session of the International Mentoring Program focused on the follow-up of clinical cases in sleep medicine was held, setting a precedent for interdisciplinary academic and clinical collaboration. The session featured Dr. Leopoldo Correa, Reimy Evangelista, and Dr. Noshir R. Mehta, who contributed their expertise and specialized approach to the diagnostic and therapeutic analysis of complex sleep-related disorders.
During the session, selected clinical cases were reviewed using an evidence-based approach, integrating differential diagnosis criteria, functional assessment, and proposals for individualized management. Furthermore, this session served as an introduction to what will be a series of academic meetings focused on structured case discussions, scientific updates, and the strengthening of clinical competencies.
This initiative lays the groundwork for an ongoing international mentorship program aimed at promoting excellence in clinical practice and a comprehensive approach to sleep disorders from a multidisciplinary perspective.
